There are many kinds of stone railings, and all kinds of stone materials can be made. The common stone railings on the market are bluestone railings, White Marble railings, granite railings, etc. It has the advantages of fashion, beauty, environmental protection, anti-aging and deformation. So let's take a look at the installation procedure for bluestone railings< br />
The installation procedure for bluestone railings is as follows:& ensp; Material selection→ Component processing→ Installation of floor stones→ Install the lower armrest→ Install the lower cushion block→ Install barriers→ Install the upper cushion block→ Install the armrest→ Install pillars→ Jointing→ Edge polishing→ Cleaning< br />
1. Component processing&ensp& nbsp; Choose semi-finished products without cracks or hidden residues, and carefully strike them with a hammer. If there is a clanging sound, it is a stone railing component without cracks or hidden residues. If there is a clicking sound, it indicates that the bluestone railing component has hidden residues. To avoid breakage during the carving process, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. The direction of the stone grain shall meet the stress requirements of the component. The floor tie-beam shall be horizontal, and the columns, corner columns, etc. shall be vertical< br />
2. Laying of floor tie-beam of stone railing
(1) Before laying floor tie-beam, the soil and sundries on the foundation cushion shall be removed& ensp;
(2) Draw the line to determine the center line and side line, pop up the ink line, and then stabilize the floor tie-beam according to the line< br />
(3) When laying the floor tie-beam stone, the mortar shall be placed first, that is, the cement mortar shall be paved at the bottom of the foundation trench, and the floor tie-beam stone points shall be leveled, aligned and padded with crowbars according to the line to ensure the internal and external levels are consistent, and then pointed with hemp knife mortar< br />
Finally, rinse and mark the stone surface clean< br />
3. Laying of lower handrails
⑴ Draw a straight line on the surface of the ground bundle to determine the center line and edge line, and mark the ink line< br />
⑵ Remove impurities from the surface of the floor and handrails, lay a thin layer of clean cement slurry on the surface of the floor, and install the handrails< br />
4. Installation of barriers
Before installing the barrier, the surface should be cleaned thoroughly< br />
⑵ Install the lower cushion block on the lower armrest according to the design position. When the gap between the cushion block and the armrest is large, use marble glue to fill the gap< br />
Before installing the barrier, the centerline and side lines of the components should be marked on the columns and lower handrails to verify the elevation. After laying out the position line of the barrier board, install it according to the pre drawn barrier board diagram< br />
⑷ Grouting: Before installing the baffle, clean the mortise and tenon of the column, brush a layer of plain cement slurry with a water cement ratio of 0.5, and then install it to ensure that there is no gap between the baffle and the column< br />
When transporting the blocking board, each rope must be subjected to force simultaneously, and the stress position of the stone material must be carefully checked before slowly positioning it. The protruding part should be placed on a temporary support< br />
⑹ Lift the blocking board gently and align it with the mortise and tenon groove of the column in place. ⑹ After installing the baffle in place, carefully check it with the control line. If there is any displacement, it should be pried back to its original position and the components adjusted to the correct position< br />
5. Installation of upper armrest
⑴ Install the upper cushion block on the guardrail according to the design position. When the gap between the cushion block and the guardrail or handrail is large, use marble glue to fill the gap< br />
(2) Gently lift the upper armrest and align it with the mortise and tenon groove of the column in place< br />
6. Column installation
⑴ Cable installation: Pop the column side line on the column base surface and the column body centerline on the column base side. During installation, the cross line on the column top stone should coincide with the column centerline< br />
(2) During the installation of the column, the mortise and tenon of the column tenon and floor tie-beam stone shall be cleaned. First, a layer of plain cement slurry with a water cement ratio of 0.5, about 10mm thick, shall be plastered on the tenon and tenon, and the column tenon shall be filled with cement slurry, and then the column shall be aligned with the center line. If there is vertical deviation, iron sheet can be used to pad the edge of the mortar joint< br />
When installing the column, the verticality of the entire column body should be checked with a plumb bob at any time. If there is any deviation, it should be adjusted using the node activity gap, and gravity striking method should not be used to correct it< br />
The top of the column is fastened with nylon rope< br />
7. Jointing&ensp& nbsp; If there are large gaps between the stones, marble glue can be applied at the joints. The color of the marble glue should be adjusted according to the color of the stone, and using white cement for color can achieve better results; If the seam is very thin, it should be coated with putty or gypsum; If there are instructions in the design, fill the joints according to the design specifications. The mortar joint should be flush with the stone component and should not form a concave joint. The mortar joint should be straight, tight, and smooth& ensp;
8. Polishing&ensp& nbsp; After the installation of the bluestone railing, the missing edges and corners of the columns, handrails, and other parts should be inspected. The defect of missing edges and corners should be repaired using marble glue and a small amount of ordinary Portland cement (color adjusted to make it consistent with the original bluestone color after polishing). Dry and hard polishing should be carried out to ensure the overall beauty of the bluestone railing< br />
9. Other detailed processing&ensp& nbsp; Expansion joint construction: disconnect the railing and floor tie-beam according to the spacing required by the design, set up columns at both ends of the expansion joint, and reserve the width of the joint according to the design requirements (if there is no design requirement, reserve an expansion joint of 3cm at 50m)& ensp; Due to the large number of irregular components in the staircase section, corners, and arc-shaped parts, it is necessary to strictly follow the drawing requirements for layout and cutting, and number and mark the back side of the stone components to ensure proper installation< br />
